Templum Appoints Josh Scheiman as Director, Commercial Strategy
Templum, Inc., the operating infrastructure for private markets and alternative investments, today announced the appointment of Josh Scheiman as Director, Commercial Strategy.
Private markets have improved access. The next problem is liquidity, and Templum is building the infrastructure to solve it.
In this role, Josh will help shape how Templum tells its story and goes to market, sharpening messaging, positioning, and pricing as the platform expands across new partnerships and client segments.
Josh brings over 18 years of marketing and strategy experience in financial services.
"Josh has spent his career working out how complex financial products actually get understood and adopted, most recently inside the alts business of a major global asset manager," said Christopher Pallotta, Founder and CEO of Templum.
He joins from PIMCO, where he spent five years as Vice President, responsible for marketing across the firm's alternatives business. His work centered on how alternative investment products reach and are adopted by advisors and institutional clients, an area directly relevant to the distribution challenges Templum's platform is built to solve.
"I've spent my career helping firms explain complex products in plain language and get that message in front of the people who actually use them," said Josh. "Templum has built something genuinely different that can help private markets continue to grow, and I can't wait to help more people see it."
Josh’s appointment adds to a growing commercial leadership team at Templum, following the recent additions of Raelan Lambert as Chief Commercial Officer and Rebecca Wilde as Managing Director, Revenue & Partnerships.
Templum operates as the only platform holding the regulatory authorizations of a Qualified Matching System, Broker-Dealer, Transfer Agent and Alternative Trading System (ATS), providing a unified technology infrastructure for the full private markets investment lifecycle, from client onboarding and primary issuance to investment execution and settlement through to post-trade and secondary liquidity. Templum's platform provides flexible deployment within heterogeneous systems via white label, API, or hybrid integration. The company is SOC II-certified.
